Our History

Joe is the founder and co-owner of the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service, founding the company in 1979. In addition to the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service, Joe is the founder of our sister companies: Mountain State Auto Auction, Pyle Equipment Auctions, and Capital City Auto Auction. Having worked as an auctioneer since the age of 16, Joe has become one of the foremost auctioneers in the nation. Joe is a licensed real estate broker in the state of WV, MD, and PA.

Charlotte is the co-owner of the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service and our sister companies. She is an accomplished auctioneer and licensed real estate salesperson, having graduated from the World-Wide College of Auctioneering and has received her CAI designation.  She also served as the past president of the National Auto Auction Association and a past presidential board member of the National Auctioneers Association, where she currently serves on the Advocacy Committee.

Alan leads the business as our general manager. With experience in various forms of personal property and real estate sales, Alan is our go-to source for all things auctions. He has graduated from West Virginia University — with a Bachelor of Science in business administration — and the Spruce School of Real Estate. Alan is a licensed auctioneer in PA, WV, KY, and OH, and a licensed real estate salesperson in WV.

Jared is our director of real estate marketing and operations, helping our clients promote their property to the right buyer. Jared has graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He has pushed our marketing department forward, fostering the achievement of winning the 2015 NAA Company Promotional Video Award.

Ethan’s experience in the auction business began in 2001 with the Pyle team.  Serving now as the Assistant GM, he handles administrative responsibilities, and serves as a firearms expert.  Ethan holds both a BA and JD from West Virginia University, and outside of work is active in Monongalia County and West Virginia politics.

Tia serves as one of our account managers. Tia graduated from Fairmont State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and holds real estate license. She is a great source of information on buying and selling a variety of property. Tia also enjoys travel, food, and experiencing new cultures.

Jordan serves as one of our account managers and auctioneers. Having graduated from the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering, Jordan is well versed in the world of auctions. Moreover, Jordan is a licensed real estate salesperson, allowing him to help our customers buy and sell their next piece of property.

Taylor Ramsey is one of our licensed real estate sales people, serving the Charleston, WV market.  Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors with her  two children.

Robert has been working with the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service for over 20 years. He is one of our account managers, auctioneers, and the automobile and equipment specialist, wherein he helps our customers sell their merchandise through strong organization and customer service. Outside of the auction business, Robert enjoys hunting in the Colorado Rockies.

Bob is both a licensed real estate salesperson and auctioneer. As the founder of Stewarts Auction Center in Jane Lew, WV, Bob works with the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service to help those in the tri-state area buy or sell their next piece of real estate.

Bob Stewart III graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University. Serving as a licensed real estate salesperson and auctioneer, Bob helps customers sell both real estate and personal property. He additionally works with his father in running Stewarts Auction Center and is a WV Auctioneers board member.

Debbie is an account manager specializing in foreclosed properties. Having worked with the Small Business Administration for 25 years, alongside running her own real estate consulting firm, Debbie is well versed in many aspects of the real estate and banking space. Debbie graduated from Fairmont State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting.

Jesse serves as our administrative assistant and lead cashier. Jesse possesses a degree in criminology from Fairmont State University. As our administrative assistant, Jesse serves as the backbone of the office, helping our staff and customers with all of their needs.

A graduate of Bluefield State College, Keith brings decades of experience in real estate to the Pyle team.  Keith has extensive experience working in both the public and private sector.  Keith will service Charleston & the surrounding markets.

Justin has served the Central & Southern areas of West Virginia for many years.  Justin is an auctioneer specializing in the sale of personal property and estate liquidations.
